The attached image is an example of a poorly insulated loft. The missing insulation is the equivalent of having your winter duvet in bed but it’s six inches off your body, it’s not going to retain heat. This homeowner of a new build property was unaware of this issue until we carried out a #snagyourhome inspection. In addition to gaps in the insulation there was a drinks bottle left in the soffit area (within the red box in the image) causing a rattle during wind. These items are photographed, referenced and given to you our client so your builder or developer can make good.
